Thaliaigo Montoya

This past week the girls went to "Camp Invention", a week-long day camp where kids learn how things work. Among other things, we sacrificed an old phone and a toaster, which the girls took to camp and took apart to see what was inside.

But all the kids had to fashion their own name tags for camp, along the lines of "Hello, my name is...". This is what Thalia wrote for her name tag:

Heh. That's our girl!

(Before some of you worry too much that we are raising a sociopath, this refers to the classic line from the movie The Princess Bride, which the girls love....)

Hmmm, it's a long way from her Halloween name tag, "Thalia? No, no, call me Musterd."

So did she make a lot of friends this week? :)

Much better than "As you wish...."

Apart from animated movies, and apart from Star Wars, the Princess Bride is my favorite movie EVER. Go Thalia!

One of my favorite movies - have this quote as a piece of 'Flair' on my FB page. Obviously, a very advanced sense of humour; but would expect nothing less with you as her dad!
