So for most of the time since the wedding the girls have been calling me "Chris", with a "Dad" or "Daddy" sprinkled in here and there. But suddenly, about three weeks ago, the word "Chris" disappeared from their vocabulary, and I am now simply "Daddy."
I'm not sure what caused that change; they said nothing about it to either Brenna or I, but just simply stopped calling me Chris. Who knows what the thought process is? Not me, but I'm just happy for the change...

For some reason, I'm feeling like I should get out some pearls and high heels and start vacuuming....
This is the way so many parenting things happen - kids change, and parents ponder and learn...this is a sweet change. Savor it. p
